Faces of Independence: EKOR at the Award Ceremony in Lviv
On May 12, 2026, Lviv once again became the center of an event dedicated to honoring those who inspire, create, and change the country. The “Faces of Independence” award ceremony took place at the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv National Opera — a distinction for people who shape Ukraine’s independence through their actions every day.
EKOR was proud to support the event as a digital partner. Standing alongside such people is both a privilege and a responsibility.

This year’s laureates included Heroes of Ukraine Vladyslav Stepanchuk, Liubomyr Mikal, and Oleh Olyva “Redut”, Azov Brigade officer and co-founder of Kava Military Ihor Florko, officers of the 413th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment “Raid” Andrii Sushko and Anton Petrivskyi, as well as Senior Sergeant of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade Yevhen Tieriekhov.
The ceremony opened with 11-year-old Roman Oleksiv — a boy whose story could have broken anyone, but did not break him. After severe injuries and a long recovery, he stepped onto the stage and danced.
The evening was hosted by Volodymyr Andriievskyi and Marichka Padalko. Performances by Sviatoslav Vakarchuk and the band YAGODY made the evening truly unforgettable.

Among those who support the strong are those for whom “Made in Ukraine” is not just a phrase, but a daily choice and responsibility. For more than 25 years, EKOR has remained a national producer of groats and cereals, committed to quality, consistency, and proudly Ukrainian roots.
We are proud to stand alongside those who keep the country strong.
