Jubilee “Days of Ukraine in Košice” Held in Slovakia: Support, Energy Security, and Economic Partnership

This autumn, the city of Košice became the heart of Ukrainian-Slovak partnership, hosting the jubilee tenth edition of the forum “Days of Ukraine in Košice”. Organized by the association “FEMAN”, the event once again underscored the significance of close cooperation between the two countries, especially amid the ongoing Russian aggression.

Over several days, the forum brought together political leaders, entrepreneurs, public figures, and volunteers from various regions of Ukraine, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. The discussions featured prominent Slovak politicians, including former Minister of Economy Karel Hirman and former Prime Minister Eduard Heger.
The event also served as a platform for international partnerships. A delegation from the Czech Vysočina region presented its initiatives to support Ukraine, while representatives from Ukrainian cities — Ternopil, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Odesa, Chernihiv, Uzhhorod, and others — shared their achievements and challenges.
The company “Ekor TP” played a significant role as a partner of the Tenth Days of Ukraine in Košice, showcasing Ukrainian grains and dishes that highlight the richness of the national cuisine. The company actively supported the “Veterans’ Mile” marathon, organized for Ukrainian Armed Forces veterans, adding warmth and flavor to the event’s atmosphere.
Guests, including Slovak attendees and international partners, had the opportunity to discover authentic Ukrainian cuisine and experience the spirit of hospitality — a core element of Ukraine’s cultural heritage.
Representing “Ekor TP” at the event was Luka Homivka, the director’s advisor:
“We not only introduced our products to the participants but also actively discussed prospects for bringing Ukrainian goods to the Slovak market, emphasizing the importance of economic cooperation between our countries.”

During tastings, guests enjoyed national dishes made from Ukrainian grains and learned more about the history and traditions the company aims to convey through its products.
A symbolic moment of the event was the mutual exchange between participants: Ukrainian Armed Forces veterans presented volunteers from the association “Spletenia” with a signed Ukrainian flag, while the volunteers gifted them a Slovakian flag as a sign of solidarity and unity.
This exchange highlighted the strength of civic solidarity between Ukraine and Slovakia. The event reaffirmed the importance of strengthening partnerships and developing joint projects that foster mutual prosperity.
