EKOR in the Export to Sweden 2.0 Program: New Insights and a Step Toward the Swedish Market
EKOR took part in the Market Orientation Mission: Export to Sweden 2.0 in Stockholm — a program that opens real opportunities for Ukrainian producers to enter the Swedish market.
Participation in the program became for our team not just a new experience, but a deep dive into the specifics of the Swedish market. We gained valuable insights into retail structures, buyer expectations, approaches to product positioning, packaging requirements, pricing, and logistics.
This experience allowed us to look at our own product from a new perspective — more systematically and strategically, taking into account international standards and consumer expectations.
As part of the program, the EKOR team also had the opportunity to visit and hold meetings with leading players in the Swedish market, including ICA Gruppen and Arvid Nordquist.
These meetings became an important step toward understanding the practical aspects of cooperation with local partners and supplier requirements.
We are sincerely grateful to Open Trade Gate Sweden, Kommerskollegium, and the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office for this opportunity and the high level of program organization.

Special thanks to Food Collective and the program experts for their openness, support, and the depth of knowledge they share. Initiatives like this help Ukrainian producers confidently move toward international markets.
For us, this is more than participation in a program — it is a step toward real change: new partnerships, new meanings, and a new level of development.
We return with a clearer vision of our next steps and a strong desire to make natural, honest products from Ukraine more accessible and understandable to international consumers.
EKOR will continue working to transform this experience into real opportunities for the company, for Ukrainian products, and for strengthening ties between Ukraine and Sweden.
